i dont know if you have all had the adverts that i have been seeing, but please dont click on them. There have been complaints made to the Webmaster about the suitability and content so hopefully they will be removed very soon

I have an ad blocker on Nortons that does a good job of getting rid of those ads. if you run Norton Internet Security 2007 you can get the add on security pack here.

I already have an add blocker on my nortons sortware but checking on google there seems to be a lot of blockers available. You might also find that your ISP has one you can use.
I don't know if any one can recommend a safe one to use for those members who are having problems with the ads at the moment.

Or swap to Firefox (www.mozilla.org) as your primary browser.
Comes with a built in popup blocker and you can add things like a script blocker / IE emulator (and a gazillion other addons) direct from mozilla... not to mention tabbed browsing.
Or, if you don't want to stop using IE, you could do worse than install the google toolbar (toolbar.google.com), complete with google search and a popup blocker.
Or, any of a number of proprietry programmes to do the job.

I use the opera browser - which has a "block content" option when you right click on a page, you can then block the adverts, or peoples signatures/tickers etc if you want - does speed up page loading times slightly too.
