I have been watching a friend knit socks in her spare moments and decided it was something I could do too! I have knitted 3 pairs so far, the first, the greeny pair was made with 2 strands of Shetland wool, the second reddish pair was made with 2 strands of Shetland wool and one of DK acrylic variegated and the 3rd blue pair 1 of Shetland wool and one of DK variegated. These are cosy socks!
This pair is for my nephew - made to measure!

Great work JD. knitting It's nearly a lost art now. The last thing I knitted was a matinee jacket for my eldest. It was such an awful mess when I finished it I never sewed it together. Can I put in my order for a Kaffe Fasset jacket please.
