what a shame you dont get to do a lesson, I thought this was becoming more and more common practice so maybe one of you're future interviews will ask for it. all I can suggest is to get as much feedback as you possibly can, go in with more confidence, you came a 'close' second that has to count for something. Look at each interview not as a failure but as a learning oppertunity, make a note of the questions you have been asked and think about how you could have improved on your answer.
It will happen, the ideal job will be waiting around the corner
