Best thing about it Fleur is that if you photocopy then laminate the pages they can be taken outside on a daily basis and the kidz can use them as well as any additional staff. It's well worth it!

A few of our lunchtime supervisors have gone on a course for 'playtiem leader' They have been shown how to 'play' games but the great thing is the children have been involved and there are now year 5 and 6 playtime leaders. The children were shown the games and now they assist the staff in playing the games. The children are allowed to go into lunch early. The lunchtime problems have been halved, so has the first aid. There is also a lunchtime club which children are allowed to attend for no more than 2 lunchtimes during the week. They have art, computer, inside games.

Ask the local council if they have any schemes that are available. It was one of our feeder schools that led the course.

(our local provider). They have provided training for Play Leaders and for our lunchtime supervisors.

I am sure our local chap said they have them in most areas.
