I made this today for a friend. She asked me to make her a shopping basket. She's the one who taught me to knit socks and she loves to make stripey ones so her basket is stripey and I incorporated a crochet chain of 3 colours of chenille 'wool'.

I put the game case in to show you some idea of scale.

Fingertips are a bit sore today from persuading willow to go where I want it! I can only do this as a result of a weekend course in basketry which I really enjoyed. The basket isn't as even as I would have liked but it's ok from the angle in the photo! Wink
