Veggie, E243 is about inclusive education. My first essay is due in beginning of next week, just another 200 words to write. (only a 1000 word assignment so not too bad).

I may throw some thoughts on here in the future, particually when looking for someone to interview as required in the ECA!

Hi buttercup,
don't be feeling alone with E243. I have done this and still have all my tutorial notes so just shout out. I'll help if I can.

To be honest I am finding this Particular TMA a nightmare.[ U212 on gender] I am working full time too and have spent many frustrating nights.

I have all my notes but essay writing is new to me so just trying to get the notes into a coherent way is frustrating me. But I keep plodding on

just make sure you have the models covered in both and whack it in the post! It is for tutors to see how you understand what you have read so far and you should get some good feedback to help you with the next one Smile

Bluebell,
I chose a health article on the BBC website describing Down's Syndrome to talk about the medical model and a Guardian article about the difficulties people with D.S face in gaining employment. It was written about the man who acted in a BBC drama a short while back who has D.S, and covers the social/ social deprivation model (I hope!)

That's interesting. I also found two articles about Down syndrome One was about a postitive experience in main stream school for one lad and how he left secondary school with certificates the other was one where a primary school asked a mother to remove her DS son from school as he couldn't access the class work so after going to court he ended up in special school.[ parents choice in the end!]

I got 90% for TMA 02 Shocked Shocked Shocked

I am so Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Next assignment is a project where I have to choose what I 'investigate' Shocked the only stipulations are that you have to use one of three perspectives and do either a group interview or two separate interviews!!

I am thinking about doing something about teaching and emotional involvement??

I hope everyone else is well and enjoying their various courses.
