Who else is doing ED209? I can't remember!
So far I've done week 1 and am onto week 2, want to get started on the first TMA as soon as possible.

Me too!! Very Happy

I've done weeks 1 and 2 and hope to crack on with week 3 this weekend.
I'm finding it really intersting so far, with lots of overlap to U212!

Ooh! Very Happy Three of us! Very Happy

I'm going to the Introduction to ED209 day tomorrow in London. I'm really glad that there are so many parallels (so far at least) with U212. Very Happy

I haven't done U212 but did do A Level Psychology and have found the ideas are all ones I covered then so haven't spent as long on the course materials as I have for SD226 which is the other course I'm doing at the moment.
My introduction is on Valentines Day .... boooo!!

As I mentioned earlier, I went to the ED209 Introductory Day in London; have some notes about bits and pieces - essay structure and so forth, if anyone would like me to post it here. The lecture by John Oates (we had that this morning) will apparently be available on Student Home for all ED209 students eventually. Very Happy

Oops! Sorry to do everything in instalments; just remembered also to mention the free books to download or order from here:

Might be useful in the course - John Oates used one of them (Early Childhood in Focus) as part of the basis for his lecture today.

Thanks for that Medusa, I seem to have missed these introductory days - is it only for some tutor groups? My first tutorial is 2 weeks away.

I think it was just London region... but I'm not sure. Hope you enjoy your first tutorial! Very Happy

Oh right...that's a bit strange they only did it for London region, is everyone else not covering the same stuff???!
I'm just looking at TMA1 (argh!) and think I wil go for Option 2 as have found Chapter 2 much more interesting than Chapter 1.
Anyone else decided yet?

I don't know if it was only London Region - I was speculating. I had a letter about it a couple of weeks back.

Strange. It hasn't happened round here though - ah well never mind!
I'm trying to get stuck into a draft of TMA1 - thought I had picked the easier option but maybe not as not all info is in the book!
