Time goes fast when your enjoying yourself... 07/08 E111 are just coming up to TMA 05 and our next tutorial will include discussing the ECA.

I've bumped up last years thread, because I found it quite interesting, but I also remember reading a thread post results where you were all talking about how the ECA was marked and in particular how referencing was marked. For example some tutors let you ref. study topics as ST14p5 where as others like Study topic 14 p5... and the ECA expected it a different way... I think that was what I read, anyway I would be interested in any comments re ECA so I can make a list for my Tutor.
Many thanks

No you didn't dream it tnewrad, there is a major issue within OU about how to reference. My tutor actually changed her mind half way through!!

My advice with ECA is to reflect as much as you can about how the course has made you look at things differently (even if it hasn't Rolling Eyes ) and really check you have covered all the LO. I lost marks by not covering the ICT LO enough.

Good luck with the rest of the course

As for references in the ECA I would go with what the assignment guide says. Having said that I still got comments back on my ECA about references so you can't win really Rolling Eyes

Many thanks for your comments, I've asked Tutor to comment using examples that this year's course have been commenting on. Have taken on board 'reflecting' and ICT. . . I've been quite short on that too. Oh well tute tomorrow we'll see what goes down.
