I work in a reception class and have been asked to think about using resources for tactile learners during literacy. Any good suggestion to what I could use to help with letter formation and recognition.

Making letters out of different materials - sandpaper, rough, smooth material, string. Gluing different textures onto letter shapes. Drawing letters in sand. You can get various resources for letter formation. We have one which uses magnets. The child has to make the ballbarian follow the letter pattern.
