all blowing their own trumpet and slagging off everyone else. the Y6 class have had a tough ride through school. Their teacher last year was naff - the DH who couldnt wait to get out on this sabbatical she is still on...just did what she wanted to teach and not necessarily what was on the curriculum and being the DH and her 'power' managed to get away with it...
So this year's Y6 are missing out a huge part of their learning. They then had a supply teacher for the summer term. who bless her - with sod all in the way of support did her best.
Apparently they had a job share in Y4. 2 teachers who i know well and who would have given theri best. And they were slagged off yesterday. so when i tried to stand up for them i was shot down and told that job shares dont work! and that one of them was an inexperienced teacher. Geez!
i dread to think what they say about me when i'm not there. that's if they bother to stoop down to think about their TA's.
think i'm just sick and tired of school at the moment. a short term it has hbeen but it seems to be going on forever,
think i just feel very isolated at school. and my idea of the support staff meeting i think - i still think would have been an excellent idea! shame the Head shot me down for that as well.
right well i'm back in my box - time to face the day again...

know how you feel catbells. I had a run in with our depute head about lack of communication etc etc and she basically told me to not concern myself about things I shouldn't - when in fact the things I was talking about did affect me! grrrgh! _________________ Howway the lads |

I do know how you are feeling at the moment. Having a very difficult time with certain staff at the moment. An incident happened on Friday and when I walked into the staff room on Monday it went silent ...... may be me being oversensitive, but I don't think so, it was all the false smiles that really got to me
But I am doing my job as SM are asking me to do it, so I just think if they have issues with it see them! (unfortunately they don't discuss it with me or SMT just gossip between themselves)
But some days its hard to paint on that smile!
Keep going Catbells, it aint long till we break up!

for all of you having a bad time at the moment, and to think we all thought we left this kind of behaviour behind us when we left school!
I think its a shame that hard working good people end up feeling like this, can't really think of anything to say to cheer you all up either, just keep reminding yourselves that you are better people than they are.
Keep smiling, if nothing else they will wonder what you're up to

it is just SO petty.
why cant grown adults communicate with one another?
The SENCO gave me a list of children who she said would be undertaking the AA intervention next half term. Didnt seem to think she should communicate this fact with the class teachers. So of course muggins here gets to be the go between! oh joy!
and then...she promised several of the parents that their childen would be doing this programme. how can you do that when the CT's themselves dont know!
geez! and then the Head and the SENCO have a go at me because i didnt communicate properly to those concerned. one rule for them it seems and one rule for the rest of us.
i'll work with any child. but its just farsical that these ppl cant discuss it all civilly.
you're right - some of these ppl have never left the sodding playground.
anyway...1 weeks time and it will be the Easter holidays. 5 days left...and counting.

Seems to be a current problem.CT told me yesterday what was happening next week I don't usually know till I go in. Perhaps some of what I said last week over an upset(me) has sunk in. Last week it was important to me to know and I wasn't told.Mind you DH was in yesterday maybe someone was making a point in front of her. |

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. I was bullied by anpther TA who also bullied others. I stood up to her. Officially spoke to head. Had another member of staff there. He told her later he thought I was being over emotional until she broke down and also told him that she had also suffered (this was a class teacher). No one else would say anything. Luckily the TA left last year and it is now amazing as to how the school changed. People you would not have thought had been affected admitted that they also had a problem I have learnt you must not keep quiet. You have to tell someone, I would hate anyone to go through what I went through. |

I was also bullied for many months at the end of last yaer by another TA. I was offered a full time position and didnt tell her, as I'm not really one to go around bragging (I am also a cancerian ). She got wind of it through the grapevine and completely froze me out. So much so that senior members of staff noticed and commented to me. I was later told that she had been raging with temper when she found out and had been heard to say " who does she think she is". Well I know exactly what will happen when I return to work next week and she finds out I am now Level 4 qualified " Who does she think she is" |

well done. its great that the SMT team noticed and actually mentioned it to you. the only problem is that now she will find someone else to bully. bullies don't like people having suppport of other people, but i am sure you will be able to help the next 'victim' |

I must say I do agree with what your dad says . You are probably feeling nervous Judellio cause of what happened last time. It's hard to act as though nothings happened and there's nothing worse than constantly being on guard, it wears you down . But be proud of what YOU have achieved and consider the fact that you haven't stooped to her level to get where you are , that's probably why she's .
Another saying to think about is 'keep your friends close but your enemies closer.' but i couldn't do with that cause it would seriously end in a slappin' contest |
