Apparently it was dispatched yesterday (or at least was due to be dispatched yesterday).

I'm going to send my TMA off today, but at the moment am having problems with the OU website, so will wait til those have cleared in case my TMA gets lost in the ether... lol

Am also going to try to catch up a bit today... am not behind, but am not as far ahead as I'd like to be.

I hope the course books come soon too, I was hoping to get way ahead and get at least TMA's 4 and 5 done by half term as the last leg towards the summer at work will be CHAOS!

This time we're only due book 3 and the associated study guide apparently. Then book 4 later (presumably).

I think that is how it worked when I did it (different books at different times) book 4 you only need for your seen question in the exam, there will (or shouldn't be) any TMAs on that book.

Forgot to say, before panic sets in , the seen Q comes with book 4 and is usually something really general that you can apply to any chapter last year it was:

Discuss ways in which developmental psychology can contribute to understanding and influencing children’s cognitive and social abilities.

We did have to search for texts over and above what was provided in the OU resources too.

The mystery parcel was indeed my next lot of books - Books 3 & 4 (and related Study Guides) and the 'Seen Question'. Yikes. Very Happy

We pick a topic from Book 4 presumably and then study that subject area? Is that correct? Or have I missed something somewhere (knowing me that wouldn't surprise me)? Very Happy

Sounds like you have the right idea to me medusa. I think you will find [if it is anything like last year] you will have to independently find additional info to go into the essay about your topic of choice. This is where the OU library comes into play.
