I am going for a job interview next month as a 1:1 TA in a reception class. Now, I have experience of working with children with a wide range of disabilities, and as a 1:1 with a boy who is in Y3 - but as yet, only limited experience working in reception, anyone got any pointers as to what legislation/documents/philosophies I need to be aware of? Any advice gratefully received, and I will let you know how I get on!

Yes make sure you keep us posted, also read up on Google the importance of play as the teachers in my reception class are hot on this (it may not come up but worth a look). I have worked 1:1 in reception and loved it!!
