Tiger nuts....no really, they were little shrivelled, chewy things. Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | Does anyone also remember Jamboree Bags, also called Lucky Bags? They had sweets and a tiny toy in them. |

I loved tiger nuts and I was trying to think what the jamboree bags were called.
Sherbert pips mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
cough candy
chocolate limes
We used to have glucose sweets in the car. I think they were made by Pascall and were fruit sweets shaped like little loaves. Revolting things but we were always made to suck them as it was supposed to ward off travel sickness. |

I remember tiger nuts and those things that looked like twigs that you chewed till they were stringy. Lucky bags.....3d in old money! Penny Arrow bars mmmm, banana was my favourite. Penny McGowans toffee bars, goody fishes .. boiled sweets covered in sugar. Spangles . Does anyone remember the chocolate with boys faces? Fry's made it. somebody else remembers Nutty Bars!!!! <remembers to breathe> right, where was I, ah yes Nutty Bars, for years I have been telling my other half about them and all that time he thought I was making them up all he kept saying was "hmmm you can remember a bar called that?!?! Why am I not surprised?? Are you sure it was real, and not just something you imagined?" So now bless him he has had to give in and believe me
I remember Pacers (school trip sweets, to stop you feeling sick!)
Who remembers Treats? Only to be replaced with M&M's peanut ones?
Have Cabana bars been mentioned yet? Always ALWAYS gave me toothache
Spacedust? POP! POP! POP! Our German Shep used to love that stuff (in moderation of course and yes I cleaned his teeth after............. using my brothers toothbrush ) _________________

Mmmmmm Treats. M&Ms are not the same, but Lidl do a sweet called Chocohoppers and they are just like old style peanut Treats. |
