Anyone remember Victory V's gum lozengers, yummy.
Cop-cops
dare devils
What about dipping rhubarb in a bag of sugar (if you had no pocket money)
sweet peanuts (hard boiled sweet, shaped like a peanut with peanuts inside.
bubble yum
refreshers
frizbees
coconut bon bons
liquorice root (looked like a twig)
chuppa cops lollies
I hated anything that tasted of lemons and oranges and I'd only eat white chocolate. Milk and dark chocolate is horrible, yuk! Although I do remember Mars bars, Marathons, Milky Way and other popular choc' being alot bigger. |

My dad still puts his gob of gum on the bedpost, yuk! Chewing gum makes me hungry so I don't eat it.
I find some sweets make me feel better (not emotionally) for example peppermints help stop me from feeling sick but they also give me headaches. Liquorice settles my stomache if I've been sick, weird! Fizzy sweets soothe a sore throat but throat lozengers strip the lining from my throat! |

My gran used to hated chocolate coated brazil nut. She used to open the box suck all the chocolate off then put the nuts back in the box for someone else to eat,
It sound horrible, but we used to buy her slabs of toffe like the ones you get the mini hammer with, for christmas. She loved em but hated how they pulled on her dentures- . Blessher. |
