I also wish there was more coverage. 1 hour a day is not enough!
But also with some of what I have seen I was struggling to see in what way the athletes were disabled. Now I know with some it is obvious for example being wheelchair bound, having limbs missing or being guided because of blindness but I would be interested to know what is the difference between some of the able bodied olympians and paralympians. How serious a condition do you have to suffer from/overcome?
More coverage would enable these things to be explained more fully. I don't want to be ignorant about these issues but feel the BBC is not doing the competitors or the audiance any favours!
I wondered what disability some athletes have and it seems to be Deafness, ME, MS,Parkinsons all qualify and you wouldnt necassarily notice the 'disability ' in those people straight away. I think they were all amazing and in 2012 we should have the same coverage for them, they have to work harder to get that far than others with good health ect.

Feel sorry for the girl that broke a world record in Discus (spelling?) but was then disqualified for not being disabled enough! Shows that even the judges have difficulty sometimes.
