during a geography lesson we needed to use rulers/striaght edges for an exercise, we did not have enough to go around. not good in SEN class. i picked up and used off cuts from the gilotine (cant spell) some one had been trimming laminated pictures. an idea hit me, i went off and did a bit of DTP and came up with a laminated straight edged rigid thingy that was full of info and keywords for the terms topic (Japan). i now do them for RE too. students seem to like them, and use them. they do not take up lots of storage room or desk room.
