Anyone help me with any info/ links for ESL please Smile

I am going to be working with a few children in Foundation during next week.
We have just all been informed that it's our OFSTED inspection next week aswell! crazy
So just wanted to read up really.

I thought ELS was aimed at Year 1. slightly below average, not Foundation. At least , that is what our school does.

I don't think it is ELS but ESL (English as a second Language)

Sorry don't have any experience of ELS or ESL, but wish you luck for your ofsted. We had it last year!! Not as painful as we thought!!

Whoops didn't read that very carefully! You're right Abbey.

advice: Put up signs in different languages to Welcome everyone. Would you have time to label a few items eg:water tray, sand, paint.
Teach them a few signs to sit, stand up,come and go.(the children not the inspectors)
