however I would be concerned that you are not comfortable in the water and this anxiety 'could' pass on to the pupil
is it possible that another member of staff could swap duties with you for the hour or so that you should be away at the pool. If i were you I'd have a chat with your line manager and discuss your concerns with them
I cant say I blame you for not being comfortable doing it, I love swimming but certainly wouldnt want to parade around in my cossie infront of the children (well not till ive lost a few more stone anyway
