Please add any websites that you may find that are interesting/informative for any of the courses. If there is anything in particular you are looking for let us know and between us we should be able to find something.

Will add more when I have time tonight but here's one for starters - very good for policies etc.

Here is one I used alot for my psychology. Lots of info on lots of people with an emphasis on sociocultural learning (so good for TMA 02) but I am sure others will find something of interst in there.

here is a link to the Foundation Stage Curriculum. Some useful bits relating to language and play and PSHE. Might help reflect on children's learning. Should think it's especially useful for the role play sequence but equally relevant for the other too.

I know others will already have these notes but thought they might be useful to others not attending tutorials. These are only a guide but is an indication of what tutors may be looking for.

Ensure specific focus on the following (in potential order of importance for TMA 02):
ST 3
activity 5 page 14 - description of classroom & analysis of CD clip
activity 9 page 25 - reading and interview on CD
activity 4 page 13 - reflection on emotion and learning
activity 6 page 20 - Piaget
activity 8, page 22 - Vygotsky

ST 5 activity 1 page 9 - intro to reading dilemmas faced by TAs activity 5 page 20 - different points of view
activity 7 page 26 - positive working relationships

ST 4
activity 9 page 31 -
ST 4 - child protection issues as they relate to student's personal professional context
Key readings as well as Study Topics include Reader 1 Chap 10 'Learning 'Let us out.'' and Reader 1 Chap 27 'Calm, Purposeful and Happy'. Links between these readings and excerpts chosen from Sequence 1 of the CD
Addendum:
Reference throughout assignment, do this often.
Good when course outcomes claimed, with good referencing to course materials and also additional references.
Need to check for some on how to refer to these, e.g. references & study topics, check assessment guide
Check word count and keep to guidelines

I use this a lot when the books I want are out at the library. All you need is an email address to register and you have access to parts (and some all) of books. It gives you title, author, publisher etc everything you need for ewhen you use them as a reference. I type in key words for example on my last assigment 'effective questioning', several books come up and I browse through, as it also higlights the key words. Bit like skimming. Wink
