I took these when we were on holiday at spring bank holiday week. These were took on my birthday from the top of the cliff

this is when we were near the bottom of the cliff overlooking where the river runs into the sea

and this is the water powered railway that transports you up and down the cliff, we walked down Sad

and got the railway back up

Havent been on site for a while, but have just seen your holiday snaps. My family and I were there two years ago and stayed at a cottage just infront of the lake. Such beautiful views each morning when you woke up. Brought back such lovely memories of long walks. Smile

We went there during our holiday this summer it was fantastic, we did the 'lift' thing the wrong way round ~ ~ ~ some bright spark (my hubby) thought it would be a laugh to walk UP and come back down in the the lift!!
Mind you the walk did work an appetite up for one of the best Ploughmans I have ever had!

Thanks for sharing the photo's tho bought back some good memories Very Happy
