Need to extra resources for help with a pupil who has a visual impairment, I have Beads, Stacking, Peg boards, Hoop and ring, shape sorting, counter post box...
Can anyone think of any more. Thanks x x |

He is 4 years old. I never thought of the plastic nuts and bolts, or the dry rice etc. Thanks for that. |

Fine grade sandpaper is good for cutting out letter shapes when he gets onto that. Also adding scents and textures(e'g dried pasta/seeds to playdough to give him that extra sensory input you just have to be careful of someof the oils as they can be irritants. _________________ A balanced diet is a Mars bar in each hand. |

also yellow and blue are good colours to put together for someone with a visual impairment, much better than black and white,or red. |
