Hi

We are doing a garden centre in the role play after Easter and although I have done this role play before I want to add some new things...does anyone know of some good websites to help me?

Thanks in advance.

David Austin will send you a glossy rose catalogue. I have a template for Primulas if I can scan it it could be lovely in there. The kids use tissue mosaics to cover it.

We have a wooden stall set up with flowers..we have colouring flower sheets, size game for plant pots, flower alphabet and number line, Till and money, reciept slips (writing), posters, dressing up aprons, assorment of flowers and buckets, white paper for wrapping flowers up.

I am sure there is something else and it's bugging me I can't rememeber.

Sure we spoke about this before but can't find it. Some ideas:

*compost and plant pots/ garden tools in sand tray
*peas or beans grown between wet paper towel and side of a jar so you can see the roots going down and shoots going up
*Pot plants and watering can to look after them with
*make letters with cotton wool on a tray/ tub lid, wet it and sprinkle with cress/ mustard seeds to grow your initials
