Do not give out any personal details on the forum, such as your email address, name (or names of your family). This is for your own protection, as well as for the protection of the school and any pupils or colleagues that you may work with. It is also safe practise online, as we can never be sure about anyones identity.

For the same reason we ask that you do not use your real name as a user name on the forum, or give your name to any member in a post or in the chat room.

It is sometimes easy to forget this when chatting to others online, but it is advisable to follow the same advice we give to our children and pupils when they are surfing the net.
