i had a notepad shortcut appear on my screen this morning, and have no idea what it means Shocked

helo Dadenuk? or Tiki or summer please? Confused

can i just delete it, have run a scan, errmmmm and all that

what were you doing at the time, was it a pop up from a site or were you in a different programme.

what did it actually say

the time on it was from last night, 22.15, around the time i said my page kept closing when i spoke to you in chat Confused

only noticed it this morning though

it is a notepad page with an error message in it, i have sent it to D so he may be able to tell me

all i was doing at the time was here on the forum, maybe surfing around, but nowhere dodgy, honest miss Wink

Without seeing it I can't help much. Run a full virus scan and run spybot or something similar. You might have touched one of the pre-programmed keys on your keyboard by accident. If it's a shortcut on your desktop. You're safe to delete it.

have run spybot and there is nothing there, running a full scan at the moment too

Spybot search and destroy is a nice little free program that you can run to detect and remove adware files and modules from your computer. Spybot also can clean program and web usage tracks from your system
