I've never attempted two courses at once, though I know someone that did and she found it very hard. I think it really comes down to how much time you can give to studies (she leads a very busy life, which added to the pressure).
Anyway, I believe there are a couple of people on here that have done or are doing two courses, so they'd be best to advise.

I did 3 thiongs at once last year and managed to pass them all. I am very organised though and my children are a bit older and spend every other weekend with their father whcih gives me time to work.

So if the second one starts january and the first finishes june and its my first ou course other than an openings one...do u think it would be better to wait till the following october before starting it or start it in january?
You could always start your course in October and then decide if you want to sign up for another one later on. By xmas you will have a fairly good idea of the amount of time and commitment K100 will require. You will soon decide if you want to do two at once!
The only reason I have done one at a time is because I have 3 young children, including a toddler, work full-time and therefore don't have any extra time to study during school holidays.
It is also important to point out you don't get time off with the OU as you do at a UNI. We had a week off at xmas and a few days at easter for our course (E111), but other than that it was full time.
