wow geni you are good. I havn't started the study topics yet. I am going to crack on with it this weekend though. I have only just received my password to enter the E111 website, but the forum isn't open yet is it.
I havn't received any notification about tutorials have you?
I am really pleased with the look of the course - I definitely think it is value for money. |

I'm the same as you Helen - I've had my stuff for a couple of weeks and am going to start this weekend. Haven't had details of tutorials or tutor yet either though.
Nice to know several of us are doing this at the same time |

Have started to read through study topic 1 and think about my role. I am the same though - haven't got a clue to put it down in an assignment. Will all become clear when we speak to our tutors( haven't heard from mine either.) Anybody going to the workshops in Norwich on the 20th October?

Tutors vary, but mine did not like bullet points. |

Hi,
I'm registered too and have started having a look at the first two study topics. No postal notification re tutors and tutorials but found out the info today from the 'StudentHome' page - a box in the middle towards the top which says 'Course Record' page - Tutor and Tutorials.
Hope this helps! |

I was told not to use bullet points too for TMA01.
You can use headings which relate to the different types of support, then write in paragraphs bringing in references from the OU study material to support what you have written.
Make sure you refer to study material in your assignment for every TMA. The OU are particularly looking to see how you have used it [and that you have read it.] |

That was a BIG groan with most of us here. They expect so much but give very little word count. Most courses llow 10% over or under on word count but not E111!! |

I am cutting it very fine but I've just enquired with the OU as to whether I am still OK to enrol on E111, having just changed my mind from doing K204 in Feb. ! (currently just finishing U212). I think E111 will be more relevant to me at this stage.
My question is : if they say it's OK to enrol and start next week, could someone tell me whether there is a lot of work at the start of the course ? The exam for U212 is on 17th October and the start of E111 will overlap slightly with the revision ! I just wonder how busy I'm going to get in the next 3 weeks !
Thanks for your replies
Shorty. |

Hi, the first two TMAs are due in at the beginning and then again at the end of november. I have my first tutorial on 13 October, this is my first ou course and there seems alot of reading, but I don't know how it would compare to other courses. Hope that helps a little
