I love penguins too, #1 son has adopted 2 at different zoos.

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, (stand to attention and salute)penguins begin..... right arm (begin to flap right arm, continue through next verse)

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, (stop flapping, stand to attention & salute)
penguins begin..... right arm, left arm (begin to flap both arms alternately until next 'attention')

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, penguins begin..... right arm, left arm, right leg (you probaby get the idea of the actions by now Very Happy )

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, penguins begin..... right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, penguins begin..... right arm, left arm, right leg lft leg, nod your head

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, penguins begin..... right arm, left arm, right leg lft leg, nod your head, stick out your tongue (very hard to sing with tongue out, but good fun Razz )

Have you ever had a penguin come to tea,
take a look at me, a penguin you will see.
Penguins attention, penguins sit down

The rhythym is a bit like this:

have you e-ver had, a pen-guin come to tea
take a look at me, a pen-guin you will see
Penguins at-ten-tion , penguins be-gin

Line 1 and 2 are same tune, it rises in 1 note increments for 'have you ever had' and goes back down again in 1 note steps for 'a penguin come to tea'. Lines 3 and 4 are spoken.

Hi
sorry if you already know this one but its easy one to remember and the children love it as it gets faster lol

I'm alive ( put both hands on your head)
I'm alert ( hands on shoulders)
I'm awake ( hands on hips)
I'm enthu-sias-tic ( cross arms and touch opposite shoulders
clap hands once
then click fingers with arms out to the side)

I'm alive
I'm alert
I'm awake
I'm enthusiastic

repeat again

I'm alive
I'm alert
I'm alive
I'm alert
I'm alive, alert,awake, enthusiastic
