I can not believe that the forum host is letting these through, as when you sign uop they ask what type of forum you are going to have and the ads are supposed to be specific for that. The ones lately have been so far different from the forums purpose it is unreal.
the host and staff of forumup arent happy about them either as many of them also have their own forums which have been affected too, there is a way to stop the ads altogether which would involve members altering their own settings
however the 'bad taste' ads have now been stopped as far as i am aware, i am mainly getting BT/Orange/TDA ads only, and havent had any of the 'flashy' pop up ads since the start of the week
as long as members dont click on them there shouldnt be a problem, and many of them are similar to any other ad you would see when visiting fun/chat type sites, i dont think there has been anything too shocking
also members can follow the good advice already posted by the staff here about the browsers that they use which can totally block the ads anyway if they arent happy about them
they will be gone asap, but in the meantime please read the advice from other members about browsers and security settings that will block them for you

I don't get them either. As the others have mentioned if you set your internet security and browser settings to stop them should find you'll have no further problem.
