Hi

As part of the course we need to plan and carryout an activity what helps children express and recognise feelings. I was thinking, Rolling Eyes not sure yet, was to get some pictures to match with pictures of facial expressions and ask the children why they have chosen that one and how it makes them feel,.... but could do with a few more ideas for the pictures. What i've got so far

Friends, Cuddles, Presents, Sweets = Happy
Night time = Scared, sleepy
Injury = sad
Bed, night = tired
Winter, frost = cold
Sunny days = hot, happy

What could I use for Cross/Angry, Worried, Suprised,

Unless anyone has any suggestions of something better?

Oh I'm working with nursery children

Thanks Mrs T x

cross/angry = broken toy

surprised = Jack in the box

worried = child alone/lost

Does your setting have the SEAL cd? If so there are pictures of facial expressions on the cd IIRC

Thanks for your replies everyone. I haven't worked with SEAL yet so thanks for that Medusa and OWUP. The website looks like it will help me lots, there are plenty of pictures I can use. I've been trailing through clipart and web pages all weekend to find some that are appropriate so thanks again, helped loads
