Yes, i have been looking through, lots of very interesting information. And a very friendly little group, very nice to be able to access this level of support.
I am new to distance learning, and worry about applying myself when i have 2 small children, lots of very helpful stuff on here,
thanks, Caroline |

I completed E111 as my first OU course and it really is a great starter course for getting you into distance learning. I find that if it's a subjct I enjoy, I'm more motivated to learn about it. Good luck!! |

caromia, I am sure you will find that by October there will be lots more doing E111, it seems a very popular course.
I have done it and enjoyed it, if you keep on top of things and plan ahead I am sure you will cope and only lose a few hairs while doing the course
Enjoy the forum |

I am just coming to the end of E111, just the ECA to write. It was my first ou course and I have really enjoyed it. This site is great for help and advice as is the ou forum, but not quite as friendly as this lot. I found the course very helpful, I have been a TA/LSA for 9 years and still learnt lots of new stuff. I t can be hard going time wise sometimes, I am a single mum of 4 teenagers so just locked myself in the bedroom to study when I could.
Good luck |

I too am coming to the end of this course and found it really useful. Other people taking the course have found themselves in new jobs and offered more responsibility.
I was very worried about the distance learning and keeping on top of things but like susie I like to keep ahead of the schedule to make sure I have a buffer, this site is very helpful, especially if you dig up the old threads.
Good luck, enjoy |

I've registered for E111 in Oct too, providing I get my NVQ3 out the way, which might be unlikely as I'll be moving house in the next month or so. I regsistered online a while ago, but it still says registration on hold - has anyone else had this?
Anyway, looking forward to it, I must be mad taking on another course, but I think i'd be bored if I didnt have some studying to do!!!! Even tho' I barely find the time! |

Hi I'm also just starting E111 and have just found out that my tutorials are over an hours journey from home. Am guessing there aren't many people in my area doing E111 then!
Can anyone tell me how important they found the tutorials and if they think its possible to get by without going to any/all of them?
I'm not sure I can spare so much time away from the kids and housework on top of all the study time I'm having palpitations about finding!
Would be grateful for any info you can give me. |
