Yes Bluebell. I was thinking of looking how the different perspectives eg developmentalists, psychologists.... understand play.
Not sure if i am on the right lines though.
Still no result! |

Chloe
Don't knock your marks! That is a fantastic result and as the tutor says there was not a lot to play with considering the question. [Whereas Option one had TOO much to consider.
Still waiting for mine,
Anyway have revised this link that veggie posted for last years U212 students as it might relate to option one in understanding Issac's quote the @Play is child's work, Haven't read it through but will do.

Well I got my results back and they are not that good. I got 75% , which is a lot less than my usual scores. I really didn't like TMA4 and I think my score reflects that. Chlo, my tutor also commented that it wasn't up to my usual standard . My daughter made me feel a bit better when she said "I still think you did really well mum" .
I like the look of TMA5 so hopefully I can get back on track with this one and put TMA4 well and truly behind me. Onwards and upwards as they say. |

Well done, CFB It's still a good score. But I suppose once you start getting high marks you set your standards high too don't you.
I also have TMA04 back and was extremely pleased with 80% considering how hard I found option 1.
Am about half way through TMA05 now and am doing option 1 on play. |

Well done Bluebell. Fab score!!
CFB, Fab score as well. Don't forget it! I think your very much like me, set yourself too high a standard, which is not always going to be achievable. I felt quite deflated when i got my mark back as it was lower than last time, but putting things in perspective we are all doing great.
Having said that i have tried really hard on tma 05, and if it goes down again i think i would be gutted.
Good luck evryone with tma 5.

I'm much happier doing this TMA (option 1) and it all seems to be flowing well, which is just how I like it. I would also be gutted if my score went down again but I'm feeling more positive this time so hopefully it will be OK
Well done Bluebell, great score . I did option 2 but still found it hard as I couldn't get it clear in my head exactly how to answer the question. Thank goodness I'm not having the same problem with TMA5.
Good luck to everyone. |

Hi all, I got TMA5 results back today and I'm really pleased as I got 90% My tutor said she was happy to see me back on form. I was much happier writing this TMA so lets hope the next one is just as good. Anyone else got their results back yet? |

WOW!
That is very impressive CFB. You must have a big smile on your face at the moment.
No results back yet but me a Chloe have been warned they won't be so quick being returned this time round as tutor has other course work to mark the same time as ours.
I've been trying to do a bit of note taking for previous books but realised I should now be working on TMA06
At the moment i am leaning towards option 1 [influences of TV] as I feel I could give good analysis.
However that view could change once I have looked at the videos. |

Thanks Chlo and Bluebell. Yes I do have a big smile on my face I'm also leaning towards option 1 but as I haven't read everything yet I could also change my mind. We hardly have time to draw breath before TMA06 is due so definitely no rest for us!!! |
