We wanted a new display for the library and after some discussion decided it would be based on adjectives. As both classes have been doing data handling as a maths topic lately I made a 'bar graph'.

At the top left is 'Our School Cat is a ...' and at the bottom right '... Cat'. Up the side of the bar chart, which takes up the middle of the display, are numbers 1-12 (spaced to fit post its) and along the bottom, letters of the alphabet (also spaced to fit). The classroom assistant stencilled paw prints around the edge.

On small post it notes, pupils and staff are writing adjectives to describe the imaginary cat. So far s is winning.

Thank you for your comments - I really need to update the website, but I am trying to get it to my own site to get away from the adverts. My son started the process, told me it was easy and went back to Edinburgh!

After a few days of cloud and drizzle we are back to some of the spectacular sunny weather we have been having lately. If you need to 'get away' there is a caravan you can sleep in at the end of the drive!
