Hope this is a good place to put this. I have just booked a weekend break. This will be our holiday for this year, but the reason so estatic is that it only cost me 65.50 .... for 2 nights in a hotel dinner B&B plus trip to Legoland!! Courtesy of Tesco Clubcard deals!! This means that the cash I have saved will go towards another nice treat, It certainly pays to save them for the deals and not to spend instore. kids really looking forward to it. Smile

an added bonus then Fleur. Enjoy the weekend and Legoland. brings back fond memories when we took our son a while back. our hotel though was right under the flight path! the novelty of watching planes though never tired with me.

and yes i too have realised the extra benefits of using tesco club card deals for other things rather than instore. i think we're hoping to spend some on our next RAC annual fee. what is it something like 4X the value. in these strapped for cash times that's amazing!

Catbells x

Its an "Old English Inn" called The Ely I think. Spent ages looking for good hotel. Some not in area some only 2 to a room (they had pool too so would have been great) This one looked nice so hope will be available.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments will keep you posted.
I thought about using deals for RAC Catbells but have now used for holiday!! My Mum gets me Good Food magazine subscription every year on deals. Its lovely to have something nice to look forward to in the post. couldn't afford to buy otherwise.

HHMMM not turning out to be such a ggod deal after all!! Got vouchers this am and tried to book hotel only to find was 50 pounds more than seen online. Rang Tesco to find alternative but got quotes from other hotels ranging from 188 pounds inc to 170 per room per night (needed 2 rooms as 3 of us!!) Found slightly cheaper place but miles from legoland so going with Folio hotels which sound friendly , have pool to swim in and near Legoland. have to pay some cash as well but not too much . Beware if booking this kind of deal to get rates from hotel first before booking vouchers.. Rolling Eyes

Well we went away and had a great time despite the weather (5th Sept! You may have been considering ark building that eve). The hotel (Waterloo at Bracknell) was superb and the staff very friendly as well they might be when I found myself paying 6 pounds for glass wine ( Grr wish pound sign would work on keyboard!!) and 51 .. Yes you read right 51 pounds for a BAR meal!!!!! (didn't ask resturant prices!!)needless to say had meal in pub (3.99 main course for me) the following night. We also went to a water park the next day as recommended by staff at hotel, which was brilliant. To end this tale I would say Use clubcard vouchers for places like Legoland which are fantastic bargains , but beware hotel breaks as it cost me quite a lot. We enjoyed being in a posh hotel for once though, but I dont have the sort of money to go there often!! Atrip to Legoland is a must for anyone with kids, there is so much to see and do. Daleks and Dr Who had invaded London (Kids loved that) In Mini land, the rides were great if very wet on some like the water rides!! It took us all day to see it all and the queues not too bad then either.

Glad you had a good time, but I do suspect this is good advertising on the hotels behalf. They hook you in before you know it you've spent loads!
