Am getting through my Nvq (slowly) and am having trouble locating answers within the ta handbook for this assignment.. Support behaviour of pupils with behav.emotion.and social develop.
what exactly are' intervention stratergies appropriate for these pupils'...I have been working on NVQ every night this week... I.think I've reached a wall!!!

strategies you would use, such as behaviour support plans, maybe strategies agreed with the pupil and teacher such as time out or other things you would use to keep them on task, rewards and sanctions etc to help them achieve

Agreeing with other staff members how you will respond to a child's behaviour ( so you are all singing off the same hymn sheet.)This means consistency for the child/ren.Positive reinforcement, incentives which are achieveable.We use a high 5 hand sometimes if the achieve 5 periods of good behaviour they have some choosing time.
