Hello and welcome.

Sorry - I have no experience of spina bifida. Do you want to know what to expect in relation to physical problems?

Maybe Eliza could help? I'm sure she, or someone else with knowledge of this will be able to help you.

do you have any more information as to how badly affected the child is. I have know children with spina bifida who are confined to a wheelchair with very little movement or feeling belowe the waist and others who are barely affected at all.

i have only worked as a volunteer in a mainstream school with year 1 pupils so my experience is very limited.
I dont know what to expect in terms of what i will be actually doing ? The little boy is in a wheelchair and needs help toileting etc which is fine. He does have an IEP so will i be following that ?
