We do a lot of work using tout le monde website or BBC schools and have been asked to record it.
I was wondering how everybody does it out there?
My class is year 3 and struggle writing english let alone french! Also our head doesnt like worksheets!
Any ideas welcome!

Video?

In primary I treat MFL primarily as a spoken exercise, lots of fun games with as little writing as I can get away with.

But as some was necessary, we made some labels / posters / etc for display, rather than worksheets, for record keeping and photographed.

I agree with Dadenuk. You can't expect Year 3s to do much writing. At that stage, it should be all about speaking and listening, getting used to new sounds and becoming aware of what a foreign language is all about. I get my Year 3s to do lots of drawing, labelling (single words), colouring, posters etc...
You can also video them doing role-play, singing etc...

Thanks fpund some I can statements that kids did on friday and spoke to our MFL co ordinator, she was just ordering us books! We spent the last part of the afternoon putting labels on things around the class so that should help when the head does her walkabouts!
Thaks for ur comments
