we are doing africa in year 8, students have to put together a fact file about country of their choice. we used to do kenya. any one got interesting facts about countries in africa?

Look in unusual gift shops and you may find a series of African cards.Years ago I worked at another school and we used pastels to recreate the artists work, the results were fantastic and the children really got into the moods of the pictures.They are scenes and figures.One was a solitary figure striding out,very upright, wearing white.I will post the artists names if I can find them.

Oxfam shops have some lovely cards like that, have a look in there if you have one

cheers guys, i know the students are going to enjoy this topic, we did one on china a little while ago, and even the teacher said that the SEN groups work was brill.
