Unfortunately this evening (22nd Feb) we've had a 'guest' post numerous links to porno sites. Thankfully this was spotted quickly and moved.

If when you come to read posts you notice that the name of the poster is in black instead of the normal blue of a member, be aware that the same think might have happen again.

Any similar posts will be moved as soon as Summer, a Mod or a prefect notice them. Hopefully one us all will be around at the time.

We try our hardest to read through every post made on the forums, however some days it's hard to keep up due to all the activity (which is a good thing!! Very Happy

) As a result, we may miss something. If you see anything that looks suspicious, is insulting or is breaking any of the forum rules, please feel free to notify one of us and we'll check it out Smile

Also, sometimes as forums get larger more 'trolls' and 'spammers' come in just to stir things up and cause trouble. Sometimes they'll even start sending out pm's to the membership trying to get them to click on other links or join other forums. The choice is yours what you do, however if you are uncomfortable please feel free to notify summer, or one of the mods/prefects so we take action Very Happy

We are having a little problem again with a childish guest who apparently thinks it's amusing to post porn links.
Our apologies if we're don't catch them and move them quickly enough. As most of us work with children you know how annoying their antics can be at times. lol

Can you not add a post report button so that members can report them immediately and you mods can deal with straightaway?

You can't trawl through every post and some do get overlooked as I know with the website I am a mod on and there are quite a few of us.

alternatively can anyone who sees the post pm a mod and we can deal with it as soon as we come online

i know that members have done this before....and it has bought our attention to it asap

guest can only post in certain areas so they are quite easy to spot cindy.

having a report button (which we dont actually have te facility for) won't actually make it any easier or quicker for the mods to sort it out.

If members do see anything they can check which mods are on line by looking at the list on the bottom of the forum and pm them, or pm any of the mods if none are on line

can members also be aware that as the forum grows we may get new members joining purely to advertise their websites...please do not click on any link that you are not sure about, the sites will be deleted by admin
