Just checked the bbc website for tomorrow's 24 hour forecast. Result- heavy rain all day, temp no higher than 7 degrees all day, and windspeeds of 40mph.
The children just cant cope if they are kept in all day, as most of them live in high rise tower blocks, and come hometime they are usually pretty much out of control.
Anyone else anticipating fun?

Not as bad in these parts as feared; we have had torrential rain and strong winds on and off but nowhere near as strong as they had forecast. The rain came and went throughout the day; the kids could go out at breaktime.

We walked a class of 8-year olds to the town library (about a mile) in glorious sunshine, feeling very smug.
We walked them back to school again in pouring rain!!!!
Luckily they had P.E. kits at school to change into, but the staff didn't, and we spent the rest of the day damp and chilly!!
